    Jim & Joe got the new Simpson seat belts in and the primary adjustments made. Now all Bob has to do is sit in the seat and make the final adjustments. These are some cool looking belts but what a pain in the butt to install the right side lap belt. I didn't think Jim could climb in through the right side window to get to it but he did.

    Joe readjusted the valves, after they were backed off during the off season to save the valve springs, to bring the engine back to life for the first time this year. Ah, the sounds of racing are in the air. There is a video posted in the Media Room for you to check out. There are some pictures of Jim And Joe installing the seat belts there also.     We hope everone had a good time and plenty to eat at our annual Daytona 500 Party. Is was great to get the 2011 season kicked off with family, friends and team members and a good NASCAR race. What a Daytona 500 race it was too. Congrats to the Rookie Trevor Bayne and the Woods Brothers Team getting back into victory lane after many years of trying. NOTE: Trevo Bayne is running for the Nationwide Series Championship not the Sprint Cup Championship so he will not get the points for the Daytona win but will receive the winnings.

    As you can see the website has went through a bit of updating. The Media section took the brunt of the updates. We had our picture albums hosted on one of those free websites and they have alot of issues. We are now hosting our picture albums on our own website. These picture albums have a high resolution so they take a little bit longer to load but they have a feature to where if you click on an image you like or want, it will take you to a larger image so you can save it to your computer. Just right click on it and select 'save as' What are you waiting for, go check them out.     We are going to Old Dominion Speedway on March 26, 2011 for an Open Practice session to setup the car for the new Hoosier F45 tire compound.  We're sure we will have to make a few changes to the setup but we should be in pretty good shape.  We welcome our fans to come on out and watch but please contact Old Dominion Speedway for the price of entrance fees if they apply.
